About the opportunity:-

We are currently looking to recruit a Court of Protection Solicitor with at least 3 years’ post qualification experience.  We hold a diverse portfolio of clients and carry out top tier quality work and have a fantastic reputation for providing exceptional service alongside practical advice. The ideal candidate will be looking for an opportunity to play a key role in the leadership and development of a Court of Protection arm within our Private Client team.

Being a confident communicator will be a necessary skill as you will engage with clients on a regular basis.

Candidate profile

Relevant experience:

  • Previous experience as a Court of Protection Solicitor with an in-depth knowledge of handling both financial and health and welfare matters is essential, (minimum 3+PQE);
  • Previous experience in health law and deprivation of liberty matters is preferred
  • The ability to communicate in a non-technical way, with empathy and to be professional;
  • The ability to work well within a close knit team and to also work well using your own initiative when required; and
  • The ability to supervise and develop others

  • A confident communicator with the ability to engage with vulnerable client audiences;
  • Good written communication skills with strong attention to detail;
  • Proactive and comfortable taking initiative when faced with new challenges;
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to handle multiple priorities;

  • Bring energy, enthusiasm and passion to the role.
