Regional Corporate and Commercial Heavyweight joins regional law firm

North East Law firm, Savage Silk continues its recruitment drive with the appointment of one of the region’s leading corporate and commercial lawyers, Paul Bury.

Paul, who is highly regarded for providing first class legal advice to businesses in the region and beyond, has experience of dealing with a wide range of corporate matters, across a broad spectrum of sectors, including acquisitions and disposals, corporate restructuring, investments, corporate governance, commercial contracts, and intellectual property.

During his legal career, spanning almost four decades, Paul advised a number of high profile  organisations including ICI.

Prior to joining Savage Silk, Paul, held the position of managing partner for Endeavour Partnership, in Stockton for almost nine years having co-founded the firm in 1999.

In addition to the work Paul has done over the years advising business leaders, he has always had an interest in the third sector working with local charities including Butterwick Hospice, Mind and The Prince’s Trust.

Paul is passionate about supporting young solicitors to help them achieve their full potential, and acted as mentor to a number of other corporate and commercial lawyers practicing in the North-East and beyond.

Paul is the latest of several significant hires over recent months by Savage Silk, who provide a complete and comprehensive service to companies, entrepreneurs, and private individuals.
